Emma Sue Prince of Unimenta has taken copies of Face to Face in the Workplace to
India this week, to see if it can be helpful to our colleagues abroad who don’t always have access to good learning materials.
“Face to Face in the Workplace” is ideal for international students studying in any field of business. The content is succinct and direct, providing invaluable practical tools for any workplace situation. Students (and teachers!) can easily use the format to create case studies, role plays, scenarios and games using the content to practice workplace skills and language.
It is also a great Handbook for any pre-experience student giving them practical advice and ‘how-to’s to guide them. For the more experienced student, a fantastic reminder of the crucial importance of conversation and how to handle just about anything! Having designed a number of courses and programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, I would highly recommend this book as essential reading, but not only that – a course tool that can be applied.

Staff at Oxford Business College have already found it well received by their HND international students.
“I teach international students on HND and university access courses. They need just the right information to succeed, and they need it presented clearly. I’ll recommend this text first for any people-management, business communications or managing activities course – even over the principal course book”.

We didn’t write it with international use in mind, but if it can be a useful resource, we’re delighted!
