Decisions, teamies and inspiration were the themes from this episode of the Knowing Your business Show. Three seemingly diverse businesses turned out to have much in common.
I really enjoyed co-hosting, giving me the opportunity to quiz business owners.
First up was the amazing Bert Sheffield. Bert is a Para Equestrian Dressage Rider who battles with her health yet achieves great things. Bert talked about the team that support her, finding inspiration in art and music. next up was Emma Edmunds, who has recently found her vocation in face painting. It sounds simple and yet the psychology behind it, and the impact on children that Emma described was mesmerising. Emma never thought she could draw yet found her medium, and is obviously deeply intuitive with her customers.
Lastly, Dr Trevor Ray talked about his decision to join The Last Hurdle. Ethics featured strongly in Trevor’s story, as did the opportunity to work with like minded people. We shared a little bit of Dale Carnegie love too – he remains an inspiration to many managers .
