I was pleased to have the opportunity to take a stand at Banbury in Business, which is an annual event featuring a wide range of exhibitors, as well as a full programme of speakers. Its aim is to support an increase in local trade, and make advice available from a range of experts.
I’m sure it achieved its brief. The speakers gave freely of their expertise on all types of topics, from familiar topics, for example marketing and starting, up to more specialist areas such as knowledge transfer partnerships and integrated technology. Of particular interest was hearing about Oxford Mentors – a keen advocate of mentoring and having trained business mentors for 10 years, I am always pleased to hear of schemes that are thriving.
Many thanks to Lana Holman of Daeda People Solutions Ltd for being the first person to buy a copy of Face to Face in the Workplace. I hope that she is able to put it to good use when working with clients!
It is always good to meet other business owners, especially when there is such a positive atmosphere; I’m sure many collaborations were begun on the day.
Well done to the team of organisers, I look forward to being even more involved next year!
